“With another year nearly to an end and another day that students of our school look forward to every year, I welcome you all to the Sanjivani Academy School Kopargaon’s Annual Report, 2019-2020.
Sanjivani Academy strongly believes in making our School one of the reputed schools of our country, by providing 360 degree education to our students through best –in- class academic facilities and churn out citizens who are inspiring leaders with humane heart.
With 1428 students, 61 academic staff, 7 administrative staff and 29 multi-tasking staff, we are constantly striving to make our school better.
Diamonds are just pieces of coal that did well under pressure and our students are no less than diamonds. This year, we have 100% pass results
81.7% of students (67out 82) have scored 80% or above

Pariksha Pe Charcha-
Pariksha Pe Charcha is an annual event, held since 2018, where the PM has a live interaction with students and teachers. The event is held during the onset of exam seasons in the country. Gaurav Purushottam Dadwani, Our student got selected to meet to go to New Delhi.He attended the programme Pariksha Pe Charcha in New Delhi.Mrs. RekhaSalunke,the teacher guided the student for Pariksha Pe Charcha.

Inter-school competitions-
Read-A-Thon competition was held in our school to inculcate the habit of reading books. It helps to build their vocabulary and understanding. It was open for all schools. More than 200 students participated in that. We got good response from the different schools and parents. Excited prizes were given to the winners and all participants.
Celebrations of national and international important days-
We celebrate various days in our Sanjivani Academy with great enthusiasm.
Such celebrations bring students closer to traditional and cultural beliefs. A close relationship is developed between the students as they understand each other’s different customs and traditions. Being a diverse country, the students need to know what each festival means, and it is only through this celebration, the students will get to know more about our country. Some festivals celebrated in the school are: Ashadhi Ekadashi Father’s Day,Doctor’s Day,Teacher’s Day,Children’s Day,Halloween Day
Sanskrit Day,Marathi Day.
New is a word which can mean differently to different people, but the idea behind it remains often the same, something different than what used to be. Existing and new events such as clubs, theme based assemblies, National Sports Day, School sports day, School Magazine Inauguration, Independence Day, Teachers’ Day, Yoga Day, Yoga Practice, , Children’s Day, Electoral Process and Investiture Ceremony, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan..
Making our students globally relevant is need of the hour and with the same idea, we introduced German Language in our curriculum beginning this session for Class I onwards.
Sports and games
Regular physical activity in the form of sports can help students to stay healthy and fit. Several research studies have noted that playing sports can improve a child’s self-esteem and self-confidence.
Our students have achieved a lot of success in various sports.Our 107 students have reached till National level.Our 190 students have succeeded in reaching state level.832 students of our school have participated in district level sports.
Trophies for Best Class and Best Assembly were given to the winners.
Studies is not the only criteria for succeeding in life. Activities such as Bhel Making, Retailing, Street Play, Seminar and Signature campaign were conducted for the students.
Orientation-
Sanjivani school organizes orientation programs for parents of children who are about to join primary school, middle school and high school. Separate parent orientation was conducted for Grade I parents Such orientation programs are wonderful opportunities for parents to know what to expect in the upcoming academic year and also equip themselves for it. They also get to know the teachers in the different classes. We explain them the pattern for conducting examinations, the extracurricular activities, the support required from parents etc.
Induction-
A teacher induction program helps new teachers in several ways. New teachers learn professional responsibilities and ultimately positively affect student learning. Induction programs help new teachers to get professional knowledge from the experienced staff of the school. Sanjivani Academy conducts induction program so that the new teachers can get adjusted with the school environment and develop themselves professionally.
Workshops and Trainings – .
With the sole purpose of updating teachers’ knowledge, the school hosted a series of Teachers’ Workshops. It was an attempt which inclusively engulfed various significant aspects like Moral Values, Life Skills by CBSE, Meditation & Stress Management
Annual Gathering-
The celebration of Annual Day is important as it provides a stage for the students to showcase their talents and urges the teachers to put their best. It is on this occasion that the students get an opportunity to step on to the stage and win their fear of speaking or performing in front of a large gathering. The parents, in this revolutionary age of media, desire to see their children on the stage however good or bad the children are. They provide all the necessary support needed and make sure to attend the program however busy they are. From academic point of view the school annual day celebrations are the best ways to acquaint the students with our culture. Sanjivani Academy celebrates annual day enthusiastically. It is a day when students of our school present their talent in front of parents.
Wednesday 22 nd July 2020
We are drowning in information and severely starving for wisdom today. Fortunately, we are empowered with demographic dividend knocking on our door. We just need to break the cocoon and let in the beautiful colours of knowledge. I am sure in the coming years, we shall successfully channelize the halo of the young minds to explore best of their abilities.
Towards the end, I thank the supportive management whose continuous support to our ideology of education has enabled the school to come this far. Teachers and the entire staff members also deserve applause for their tireless efforts in implementing the route map of imparting quality education here. I also extend my heartfelt thanks to the parents of our students who have shown unflinching faith in us by giving us the profound opportunity to transform their children into truly useful citizens of the future world.
With that, let us foresee a world of universal singularity where our children are going to be the propellant of this change and the world shall be a beautiful place to live in..!!!
